Environment

It is inevitable that any business will have some measure of impact on the environment in which it operates.

Evolve not only wishes to minimise its impact on the environment but also to take positive and proactive steps not to cause damage or pollution in its operation. This policy is part of our effort to continually reduce our environmental impact. No policy should stand on its own; we recognise that in implementing a pragmatic and viable environmental policy we are at the same time making a valuable contribution to the health and safety of our employees.

Responsibility for Policy and Implementation

The Managing Director of Evolve has ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the company’s environmental policy. He has nominated the Environmental Officer (a member of Evolve’s Management Group), to lead the company’s environmental policy and is responsible for all aspects of policy formulation, implementation and monitoring.

Environmental policy and performance is reviewed during Evolve Management Group meetings.

Environmental Quality Assurance Standards

Evolve is proud to have attained Environmental Management System Standard BS EN ISO 14001:2004.

Evolve is an accredited Carbon Neutral company and seeks to minimise and offset its carbon emissions through annual investment through an externally audited programme.

This policy is disseminated to all employees by the following methods:

  • Induction Course;
  • e-mail;
  • Management Meetings.
